Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between therapy and coaching?
Coaching focuses on specific goals that support personal development, self-awareness, and relationship skills. Coaching does not specifically diagnose, treat, or address mental health conditions. Coaches do not analyze the past or facilitate trauma work.
A therapist works with and counsels a client dealing with emotional challenges, mental illness, trauma, grief and loss, and relationship issues. A therapist often draws on the client’s past history in order to facilitate a deeper type of healing.
Can I work with you as my coach if you're my therapist?
Unfortunately, no. The ethical guidelines of my psychotherapy license prohibit me from seeing any current or past clients for coaching.
What if I'm not good with technology?
Welcome to the club! Thankfully, all you need is Zoom, but if you prefer to have our sessions by phone, that's totally fine too. It's important that you are comfortable with how we conduct our sessions.
What does it cost?
You have two options; a 30-minute session for $110 or a 45-minute session for $170.
Do you offer a free consult?
Most of my clients find me through my YouTube Channel. That's the best way to get a sense of who I am and if my approach speaks to you. Feel free to book a 30-minute session with no pressure. Your comfort is most important.
